JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY
AND THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH
We invite you to take part in a research
study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and the Johns
Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. The purpose
of this study is to learn more about how adolescents and adults with
Klinefelter syndrome (XXY) think and feel about living with XXY.
Individuals with Klinefelter syndrome (XXY) who are 14 years or older
are needed to take part in this study. Participation involves one
survey that takes 30-40 minutes to finish. It can be taken online
or a paper copy can be mailed to you.
If you have Klinefelter syndrome and are 18 years or older, please go
to www.surveymonkey.com/xxystudy
to learn more about our study and to take part.
If you are 14-17 years old and have Klinefelter syndrome, you will need
a parent or guardian to give his/her permission for you to take
part. Please ask a parent or guardian to go to www.surveymonkey.com/xxyparent
to learn more so that we can give you access to our survey.
If you are the parent of an adolescent with Klinefelter syndrome who is
14-17 years old or who is still your dependent, please go to
www.surveymonkey.com/xxyparent to learn more and to share this
information with your son.
If you have any questions, please contact Amy Turriff at (301)443-2634
